Who pays for home health care?
For most eligible patients, Medicare covers home health services in full. We also accept Medi-Cal and most major private insurance. We verify coverage for you before any care begins, so there are no surprises.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
Yes. Home health care requires a physician’s order. If you don’t have one yet, we can coordinate directly with your doctor (or help you find one) to get the order in place.
How quickly can care start?
In most cases, we can complete the initial assessment and start care within 24 to 48 hours of your physician’s referral.
How is home health different from in-home senior care?
Home health is medical care delivered by licensed professionals (nurses, therapists, aides) under a physician’s plan, typically covered by Medicare. In-home senior care is non-medical companionship and personal care, paid privately. Olora provides home health.
What areas do you serve?
